For the award of the course certificate and the required 12 ECTS points, sufficient proof of achievement is required. For each module, participants will be assessed through practical exercises and/or critical literature review or a short examination. At the end of the CAS in Sex- and Gender-Specific Medicine the participants write a thesis. This can be, for example, an in-depth treatment of a topic, a research project or a detailed description of a case. The theses are assessed as “fulfilled” or “not fulfilled” and are therefore regarded as passed or failed.
